Saturday I was at the Heathrow Airport, in England, and at the lounge all you could see on TV, on the billboards and on the newspapers where pictures of the royal wedding, held the day before. The TV's were going crazy with close-ups of the two lovebirds, the newspapers had all the souvenir editions, with the dates, and poster-format pictures of the whole event. They also had 10-20 pages of in detail reportage about the guests, fashion police, the wedding gown, the ring, and their honeymoon destination. In her book, exclusively sold in Italy, "Sarò Regina" (I will be the Queen), she tells us how the love story began, and will never end, with some tips on how to keep a man in his right place. It is one of the most touching love stories ever. Take that, Cinderella!
And the franchise? Kate said they authorized only a couple mug, food and banner companies, but the objects on sale became endless...
